Kanha
National Park, located in the Mandla district of Madhya
Pradesh, I spread over an area of 1,940-sq-km. The Kanha
National Park lies in a horseshoe shaped valley with
the River Surpan meandering through the plains of the
park. Go on tours to Kanha, one of the finest Tiger
Reserves of India.
On tours to Kanha, you will come across the forests
of Bamboo, Sal and the grasslands. Kanha is home to
animal species such as Antelope, Porcupine, Gray Langurs,
Mongoose, Hyena, Indian Bison, Jungle Cat, Leopard,
Nilgai, Tiger, Wild Pig and many varieties of Deer including
Barking Deer, Chousingha, Spotted Deer and Swamp Deer.
There are somewhere around 400 Swamp Deer in the park.
On tours to Kanha, look for almost 175 species of birds.

the premises of the park. You will learn about the objects

You can plan to go no tours to Kanha from mid-February
to June and mid-November to mid-February. It is closed
from July to November due to the monsoons.
